Pei Wen Lawing, O.D., is an optometrist specializing in primary eye care. In 2008, Dr. Lawing earned her biology degree with a chemistry minor from the University of Pittsburgh. She then pursued her optometry education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, graduating in 2012. Dr. Lawing furthered her expertise by completing a residency in primary eye care at William Chappell Jr. VA in Daytona Beach, FL, in 2013.
Since she was just four years old, Dr. Lawing has been drawn to the medical field. She believes that vision is often taken for granted, yet it can be a significant source of anxiety when compromised.
