Research & Clinical Trials
Leading the Way in Excellence in Eye Care
The board certified fellowship trained physicians at Florida Eye Specialists are recognized in their respective ophthalmic subspecialties for their leadership and contributions to the advancement of eye care. Our doctors are engaged in clinical trials and lecture frequently to other eye doctors locally and at national meetings. They were the first to introduce many state-of-the-art surgical techniques and eye procedures to Northeast Florida. The team is involved with cataract, glaucoma, and Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus trials.
Dr. Lott is thorough, pleasant and has a kind manner. He and his staff are attentive and professional. Mary, in the front office, was very patient and helpful in obtaining my records not yet received from another doctor’s office by the time of my appointment, although I had requested them weeks before.
I love visiting the office – the entire staff is so friendly and supportive. Dr. Chokshi is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone who has an eye issue. Thank you all for all you do!
Dr. Freidl and the staff at Florida Eye Specialists are fantastic. From the time you check in until you leave, you have a feeling that you’ve been seen by professional, compassionate and friendly people.
A considerable amount of time was taken to explain what my options were and why other options were not available. In the 30 years I’ve had Glaucoma this was the first time a doctor didn’t treat me like a number but rather an individual person and it meant more than I could ever begin to express.
To see is to know and love the world and all its wonders. Without sight, my life would nearly be over. Dr. Freidl has saved my life and I am eternally grateful.
