<sub>Dr. Rajesh Shetty founded the practice in 2009 after serving 7 years on staff at the Mayo Clinic with the mission to bring the best high-quality, patient-centered eye care to the region.

Our integrated team of physicians includes several experienced, board certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologists.  Most of our doctors have had 10 years of medical school, residency, and fellowship training and share a combined 30+ years of clinical practice at the Mayo Clinic.

In 2011 our practice recruited Dr. Kathryn Freidl, a glaucoma and cataract surgeon, who trained at the world-renowned Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Our team further expanded in early 2012 with Dr. David Kostick who is an expert in cosmetic eyelid, eyebrow and orbital surgery.  Dr. Kostick was at the Mayo Clinic and served 16 years on staff as an Assistant Professor and as Chair of Education. In September of 2012, Dr. S. Akbar Hasan joined our practice after 10 years of experience at Mayo as the lead laser refractive (LASIK), cornea and cataract surgeon.
