Dr. Ravi Patel performed a merciless on my right eye. I was always told to not rush surgery. I was a poor subject for any surgery. And yet, I see so much better - my cataract lens power has gone from a double digit to a single. A mature cataract was removed from my left eye. I am still adjusting. Special appreciation to Bea and Crystal and the ladies at the front desk.
P.S. I was directed to the best doctor to perform on my delicate eyes. God placed me with the most skilled doctors.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Kimberly Riordan and her office personnel. From the moment of my initial contact, Dr. Riordan impressed me with her extensive knowledge about dry eyes and her caring and patient response to all of my questions and concerns. Her treatment plan made sense and got me started on the road to better vision and more comfortable eyes. I was also very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of every member of the office staff that participated in my care. I am convinced that the initial MiBoFlo treatments that I received helped with my problem and will be a part of my eye care plan in the future.

I have been using reading glasses for about 10 years and its amazing that the mono vision surgery produced positive results instantly! 20 minutes after surgery I woke up from my nap and opened my phone and could read the text! OMG NO GLASSES- It didn’t hurt at all. Just a little discomfort at night but I slept almost all day and night. I drove myself the very next day from Brunswick, Georgia into the office.I work all day using my close up vision and I am really excited to not have to wear reading glasses! I would definitely recommend this to others and my best friend used me as a guinea pig so he will be having it done soon!

I am absolutely happy with my surgery & lens. I could not be happier, since I do not have to wear any glasses during night driving. I noticed a few halos, but they do not bother me. I would highly recommend Dr. Shetty and the Restor lenses to those who want to get rid of their glasses.

I consider it a miracle not to have to remember to have my glasses when leaving the house. I did not wear them all the time at home – only when I needed to read. I used to need them all the time for driving. God bless those responsible for this gift of sight that was available for me with cataract replacement.

My experience was fantastic. Dr. Hasan and the entire team explained everything to me at every step. I was comfortable, and I have never been able to see as well as I can now in my left eye! I want to get the right eye done as soon as possible.
In July 2013, I had a bilateral brow lift performed by Dr. Kostick. The results were amazing. I immediately could see clouds and trees without tilting my head, and my family and friends said I look 10 years younger. One of the best results of my surgery was my vision improved to better than 20/20. I would absolutely do this procedure again.
I'm very impressed with the cataract surgery Dr. Hasan performed. He is not only an excellent surgeon, but is a kind and caring person as well. As a patient he makes you feel comfortable during the office visits and explains all test results and procedures. Prior to the surgery he discusses the various options available for your situation. I was born with eye problems. My entire life I fought with contacts and glasses, paying vast amounts of money on both. Between breaking glasses and/or losing contacts it was awful... Now after 34 years of that I finally took a chance with LASIK. It’s like a totally different world for me now and it’s only the day after. The process was very easy on my part. After the first exam, I came back the following week and was in and out in less than a few hours. I went home and slept for four hours and awoke to a new life without glasses or contacts. It’s such a relief to be rid of these it’s hard to put in words. All I can say is for as long as I was hesitant to do it, I now wish I would have done it years before. Everyone here at Dr. Chokshi’s office has been very nice in helping me through this process. Dr. Chokshi himself even called the night of the operation to make sure everything went well, I told him it went great and just how thankful I was. So for anyone who might read this and is on the fence about getting it done, don’t hesitate any longer, you will no regret it! The only regret I have is not doing it sooner!
Dr. Shetty performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. Because of previous Lasik surgery and monovision, there were potential complications and the possibility that I might continue to need some form of glasses. The surgery turned out to be perfect and there is no need for glasses at all. Dr. Shetty is fantastic as a practitioner, warm and friendly with his patients and willing to take the time necessary to completely explain the alternative procedures available and the pros and cons related to them. In addition, his staff shows the same professional, pleasant and caring attitude. I would not hesitate to recommend Florida Eye Specialists to anyone in need of their services.
I can see! It’s wonderful. Everyone I met at Dr. Chokshi’s office was so helpful, friendly, efficient and professional. They have the best equipment and truly care for their patients. It has been almost magical to watch my mom rediscover the world after her surgery. Her comments about the grass being so green, or how how beautiful the sky is at dusk, or how handsome Kason is at 9 months made me realize how much she had been missing.
It's almost like watching a baby discover the world for the first time, and the sense of awe and respect for her "new" surroundings.
Of course, she can also see her wrinkles better.

Went to several Dr.'s, and they said they could not find anything wrong. When I came to Dr. Hasan, he found several things wrong. I knew I could not see well and he fixed it. I can see great now, and I think he is wonderful.
Living with double vision from Graves' ophthalmopathy for several years, the disease ran its course and I finally had the strabismus surgery needed to see normally again. During those years, Dr. Kostick helped me with all the other associated issues, including orbital decompression surgery. On July 6 and 20, 2015 - I had laser cataract surgery, also correcting an astigmatism in the right eye, done by Dr. Shetty. He put the multifocal lens in each eye. Of course, Dr. Shetty is a spectacular surgeon, and the surgery experience was quite comfortable. Dr. Shapiro, the anesthesiologist, was great, and Southpoint Surgery Center was efficient and friendly. I just took the last drops for the second eye yesterday. I have had no problems - and guess what? I can see!! I didn't realize how poor my vision was becoming but i can certainily tell a difference now. The multifocus lens is absolutely the way to go. I was wearing "drugstore cheaters" at 3.25 in order to read and prescription distance glasses for driving. Didn't have much middle range vision, TV watching was very fuzzy. Now, I do not wear glasses at all and my near, middle and distance vision is all good. I took a two-week trip abroad, no glasswes to worry about (excpet sunglasses!) It is especially good for me not to wear glasses all the time as I was constantly getting little lesions on my nose from the plastic nose pieces. Thank you!!
Dr. Khaja found my retinal detachment, repaired by droopy eyelids, and then did my cataract surgery. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail and made me feel very comfortable. She is the best!
