Ectropion Repair

Ectropion is a medical condition in which your eyelid turns out. It causes irritation of the surface of the eye and can lead to dryness, redness, and scratches on the surface of the eye.

There is no medical treatment for ectropion and it requires surgery to correct it. Artificial tears can help relieve the symptoms caused by ectropion until you can have surgery to correct the condition.

Entropion Repair

Entropion is a medical condition in which the eyelid turns inward. This causes the eyelid skin to rub against the eye and sometimes the eyelashes can also rub against the eye. This can lead to constant irritation and puts you at risk for trauma, scarring of the eyelid, or nerve damage. This also requires surgery to rotate the eyelid outward.
