New: iTrack Advance for Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery

Florida Eye Specialists is the first private practice in North Florida to utilize the iTrack Advance, a cutting-edge surgical device to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in adult patients with primary open-angle glaucoma. It can be used during minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) or in combination with cataract surgery.

The iTrack Advance Canaloplasty Device helps control a glaucoma patient’s eye pressure while lessening their medication burden. It combines the world’s only illuminated canaloplasty microcatheter, handheld injector and custom cannula to offer an implant-free, tissue-sparing option for surgery. Another benefit of the device is that it can be combined with cataract surgery, and it will not affect or alter visual outcome.

Glaucoma Innovation at Florida Eye Specialists

“The iTrack Advance is the latest in a long line of groundbreaking advancements we’ve brought to our practice to better serve our patients,” said Dr. Rajesh Shetty, an ophthalmologist, CEO and managing partner of Florida Eye Specialists.

Dr. Shetty explained that the team has served as investigators for many of the latest glaucoma treatments, including the medication Rocklatan, the medication device iDose, and the surgical device the XEN Gel Stent. The dedicated doctors at Florida Eye Specialists also use the latest diagnostic glaucoma device Olleyes and started in AI in glaucoma.
