
Dr. Austin Isaac, M.D., M.B.A., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), office-based laser procedures, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and acute ocular conditions. He strives to offer each patient the personalized, high-quality care he would want for his own family.
Dr. Isaac graduated with Honors from Vanderbilt University in Neuroscience and Spanish, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia โ where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha โ and earned an M.B.A. with distinction from Cornell University, driven by a long-term vision for leadership in medicine and global eye care. He served as Academic Chief Resident during his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia, building expertise through a high volume of complex cases. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
His passion for ophthalmology was sparked by the transformative power of cataract surgery to restore vision. He has served on extensive medical missions in Peru, Guatemala, and Honduras, and he hopes to bring that same commitment to underserved communities through ophthalmology throughout his career.
Originally from Georgia, Dr. Isaac and his family are proud to call the Florida coast home. He is honored to be part of the Florida Eye Specialists team and committed to serving the surrounding community. Outside of medicine, he enjoys salsa dancing, scuba, and exploring nature with his wife and young daughter.
